Laguna $75 Flat Rate Shipping

How it Works

Our Laguna Flat Rate shipping program allows us to ship all machinery anywhere in the contiguous U.S. for only $75. This cost includes residential delivery, lift-gate service, and it applies to your full order. For example, if you need two machines and accessories (i.e. a lathe, a bandsaw, a wheel system, and blades), we’ll ship all of it to your door for just one Flat Rate shipping cost of $75. In other words, all orders containing Laguna machinery ship for a Flat Rate $75 charge; no additional shipping costs will apply if additional accessories or machines are ordered together.

**Laguna Flat Rate shipping does not apply to orders delivering outside the contiguous U.S. states. Hawaii, Alaska, and all off-continent islands are excluded from this service.

Laguna Machinery Shipping and Lead-Times

Laguna machinery is packed on a pallet, and ships in a freight truck typically within 3-4 working days of order placement. Occasionally, delays occur and a few days may be added to that lead-time. The freight company will contact you in advance to schedule delivery and receive any specific instructions you may have for your driver. Laguna machinery will not be delivered unless arrangements have been made for you (or an authorized person) to receive it. Typically, machinery delivers within 4 working days of shipment.

Reviews

A bonus- the damned thing just LOOKS sexy! Review by Denies French
I had read numerous reviews on this new Laguna model and I was in the market to upgrade my 7 year old 14-6 Rikon. The 110V was a plus for me as I didn’t really want to add another 220V line in my shop.

The saw was extremely well packaged and with the help of a couple of friends (I have a crappy lower back) got it on its stand and within 1 1/2 hours I had finished the initial setup with a 5/8″ shear force blade. Setting up the ceramic guides was a breeze.

Everything about the saw from the gauge of steel used for the stand, to the overall fit, finish and choice of materials ( i.e. cast iron wheels) for the saw itself was exceptional. Both my friends who are studio artists ( sculptors) remarked about this as well.

A bonus- the damned thing just LOOKS sexy! And as a designer/craftsman, cabinetmaker that’s something I really appreciate. I haven’t really put it through its paces yet, but I after setup I did resaw a 6″ wide piece of hard maple, talking off a 1/4″ slice. VERY accurate and very smooth. It was like cutting, butter – to quote a cliché! I will add another review when I have gotten over the honeymoon and pushed its capabilities. (Posted on 10/22/2014)
exceeded my expectationsReview by sadowsky
I have been a professional guitarmaker for 41 years. If there is one thing I have learned is to always push yourself as much past your comfort zone as possible when buying tools. I started with a normal 14″ Delta bandsaw and then several years ago moved up to the 18″ Rikon after a good FW woodworking review. I struggled for years to get the Rikon to resaw properly and invested hundreds of dollars in new fences and blades….all to no avail. A few months ago I spent 2K on a 16″ Laguna and was absolutely amazed. Then, when I saw the 14/12, I purchased that to replace another smaller band saw I had. The new laguna 14/12 is just an amazing VALUE….yes, I said VALUE!!!! With the options I ordered, it ended up running about $1400 delivered. An absolutely amazing saw! I am not the kind of person to buy expensive cars, wines, watches or any of that stuff. I love cameras, but I know that a more expensive camera will NOT make me a better photographer. But I will always push myself to my financial limits to buy the best tools I can….they have always exceeded my expectations, especially when upgrading from something I previously bought at a price range that was “comfortable” for me. A beautiful bandsaw that’s perfect for the serious hobbiest.Review by Bob
A beautiful bandsaw that’s perfect for the serious hobbiest. I use this machine mostly for resawing and cutting through 12″ wide hard maple is no problem. Their support team is also very accessible and helpful. I had a question about setting the fence and received a friendly call from one of the product managers. Highly recommended.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (Posted on 10/22/2014)
the new Laguna saw is absolutely awesome!!Review by Roger
Please note the new Laguna saw is absolutely awesome!!
I cannot imagine a better 14″ 110V band saw! (Posted on 10/22/2014)
Very niceReview by Phil
Workmanship and features are head and shoulders above the Rikon which now resides in a corner of my shop. Blade guides and table adjustment features are excellent. Although it is a 110 volt model I have yet to find this to be an issue. Plenty of power for all the resawing I have done so far. (Posted on 10/22/2014)
